Community Legal Intermediary Training Advanced Course

Course Information

As a result of the popularity of our Community Legal Intermediary Course and as a result of requests from participants of that course, we are offering an Advanced Community Legal Intermediary Training Course.

As with the CLI Course, a large part of what you will learn in this course is where to look for information and resources.  You will receive a number of print resources for your own information. You will also receive numerous phone numbers and web site addresses that will help you to find more information when you need it. The Advanced Course will cover topics covered in the CLI course in more detail and will, as well, cover topics not offered in the CLI course.

The class will meet each week for a period of seven weeks. Each class begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 8:30 pm, unless you are notified otherwise. Cost of the course is $100, payable in advance.

All classes will take place at our office, 205 - 414 Graham Avenue in Winnipeg.

Topics

The following topics will include:

  • Criminal Law - part 2
  • Family Law - part 2
  • Immigration Law
  • Debtors and Creditors Rights
